I think about this a lot. Changing our inner world is more important than trying to manually rearrange our outer world. It’s actually fruitless when we focus on outer circumstances as the CAUSE of any thing within.

When people say “I wish I could go back in time to change ______.” I think to myself “It would be redundant to go back in time to attempt to change anything if you haven’t already changed yourself. In which case you might as well stay in the present and let life unfold from your point of betterment.”
