Since the pandemic started, I’ve been working out in my parking lot, consistently — 5 out of 7 days a week.

Throughout that time, I’ve gotten acquainted with my neighbors via traffic, literally.

I train by my car, which is right by the parking lot exit. Every day as the neighbors come and go, they see me.

I show up. They see me.

Consistently.

I’m not a brilliant marketer. Or a marketer at all. But I do know this.

Building an audience requires that you show up every day. Someway. Somehow — so that people can get to know you.

This internet thing is heavily community based and it’s becoming even more community based everyday.

My neighbors know me. I know them. Some stop to ask me for workout tips. Some just stop to chat.

Some are inspired by my determination to train despite the gyms being closed(now re-opened).

The name of the game is rapport.

Show up.

Consistently…

…Perpetually.
