(This article has so many good points lol) this is HUGE! Putting people on a pedestal is dangerous because it ties back to point number 1 where it’s a quasi-delusion you’re forcing on someone. It creates a state of incongruity in the object of your affection. They’ll start to feel uncomfortable because they might start to think that they have to keep up a façade of perfection. It’s exhausting.
